KUCHING- From 13 Jan until 10 February 2014, a total of 157 participants together with facilitators from different parishes were at St Lukas Centre, Kota Padawan for KAYA 1 month stay-in program with the theme “Who do say that I am” taken from Mark 8:29 which covered 4 aspect of formation; Spiritual Formation, Human Formation, pastoral Formation, Social Formation. This program also provides them a platform to experience living as a community of faith. For this year, we also received outside participants from Sibu Diocese, Malacca-Johore Diocese and from Brunei Darussalam.

Testimonies:

Darren Richmnod: I have learned a lot of new things from KAYA 22 such as conducting prayer meetings, living together as a community by helping each other and being out of the comfort zone during sharing time. This experience have helped me to become a better Christian youth as I’ve become even more responsible for my own actions and I’m brave enough to face any obstacles by praying.
